The Oceanport Sports Foundation, a 501(c)(3) New Jersey registered non-profit, was founded in 2002 to raise funds in support of the sports programs and recreational facilities within the Oceanport community. The Oceanport Sports Foundation works to support local programs and activities benefiting its youngest residents. A new basketball court, rebuilding the roller hockey rink, water fountains, scoreboards, soccer nets to name a few…the Foundation has donated thousands of dollars since its inception.

The 2007 Breeders’ Cup FanFest Polo Match was such an overwhelming success that the Foundation has partnered with Monmouth Park Racetrack to create what is sure to be one of the season’s most exciting events. The Second Annual Monmouth Park Polo Classic is scheduled for Saturday, October 4th, 2008 from 2 – 4 pm at the Maria Gatta Community Park on Port-au-Peck Avenue in Oceanport.
